We recognise that for all people, privacy is important. It is also important to us that you feel comfortable in dealing with Barefoot Babies and we therefore guarantee that your personal information is not used in any way without your express consent. It will not be passed on to another party for their use.
The information that you provide on our website is used solely in ensuring that you have an easy and secure experience with us from order to delivery. Once your order is shipped, we will not contact you unless you have requested that we do so. Those emails would be infrequent newsletters for the purpose of alerting you to sales or new collection releases, and would cease immediately upon your request.

Barefoot Babies aim to deliver our best quality items on our website. We take every possible care to describe each item accurately and show it as clearly as we can in our photographs, however due to the handmade nature of our products, there are often distinctions between items on our website. If you are not satisfied with a product, we'll do everything we can to deal with the matter to your complete satisfaction.
Barefoot Babies reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time without providing notice to you. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
At Barefoot Babies, many of our products are “one-off” items or from a limited run. In the instance that the item you have ordered has already been purchased by another customer, we will contact you to determine whether there is an alternative item that we can supply you with. In many cases, we may be able to make an item specifically for you.
Barefoot Babies trades in Australian Dollars only. Payment is accepted through either Paypal using your credit card or direct deposit into our bank account. All orders must be paid in full prior to shipment taking place.
Barefoot Babies uses a secure ordering system where all of your personal details are kept private and confidential. We do not have the ability to alter your information, so should this be required, you would need to do so by logging in to our site.
Our delivery charges are determined by weight in line with Australia Post’s costs. We also add a small fee to cover our packaging costs and handling time. It is important to us that we keep this cost as low as possible. Please refer to our delivery page for more information on our delivery costs.
We aim to use environmentally friendly packaging materials that are able to be recycled, however we also aim to make your package as attractive as possible as we know that there are few things as exciting as receiving a parcel in the mail!
In most instances, your item will be ready for shipping immediately. We anticipate that it will be dispatched within 5 days of your order. We will contact you via email at that time to tell you that your item has been shipped. We use Australia Post for our deliveries and offer you the option of paying for registered post. There are sometimes unexpected delays with deliveries – if we are made aware of these, we will contact you as soon as possible.
As mentioned above, there will be occasions when we do not have the item that you have ordered available for immediate shipment. In those instances, we will be in contact with you regarding an approximate shipping date.
We happily exchange or refund should you have any problems with a product or the size of a garment. Return postage costs are the customer’s responsibility. Returned products must be new and unworn/unused, with tags still attached. Please contact us via email within 10 days of receiving your order so that we can address your request as quickly as possible.

We will then contact you with instructions on returning the item to us. Please wait to hear from us prior to sending the item, so that we can be sure that we can act on your return immediately.
If it is clear that the item is not in its original condition, Barefoot Babies reserves the right to refuse to refund your payment. We will contact you if there are any problems in this regard.
We cannot be held responsible for items once you have passed them to Australia Post for return, but before they have been delivered to us. In the event of an exchange, if the replacement item is priced higher than the original item, the difference is to be paid by the customer, in addition to postage costs.
There is always a chance that things will go wrong. At Barefoot Babies, we take every effort to ensure that your item is packaged securely so that it arrives safely at your address. Once the item has been passed on to Australia Post however, we are unable to guarantee its safe passage. You do have the option of paying for registered post if you desire.
